Falling in love spontaneously

I am spending time with a wonderful woman in a bright, spacious and comfortable house in pretty hills outside of Rome. The interior is decorated in rich colors, and the abundant, large windows look out on attractive views of sunny hillsides through lush shade trees. Feeling hungry, we decide to stroll out for a bite to eat. The weather is perfect, and it is only a short walk to a local deli. She chooses something hot from under the glass display counter. I am unsure what to eat, perhaps feeling overwhelmed by all the choices, and she suggests another hot dish, which I order. As I am paying, we see a sign on the wall that reads, “Prawns – $75/lb.” She says we’ll have to try them sometime, but they look awfully expensive to me. Perhaps she assumes I am wealthier than I am.

We are having so much fun and getting along so well, that I spontaneously lean forward and kiss her. It’s a little awkward, because the sudden, unexpected movement makes her start a bit, and my kiss lands on her nose instead of her lips. This amuses us both, and we laugh and try again, this time succeeding in a nice, comfortable kiss. There is a very warm feeling growing between us. She says, “Hmmm, we’re talking sessions and sessions and sessions here.” I know she means that we are going to enjoy a lot of truly compatible love-making. I say, “Why not? It’s been long enough!”

You can be anything, this time around

On a warm, dark evening, I am driving two women into L.A. I haven’t known them long, but we are getting along well, and there is a friendly feeling in the car. One woman asks if we are in L.A. yet. I explain that we have been in L.A. for some time now, but we are on the fringes heading into the center.

The scene changes and I am in a little shop in a high end mall. There is a display stand in the center of the shop that exhibits very fine craftsmanship. It glows warmly with a combination of fine woods. The shopkeeper is nearby and I say to him that he must have spent a fortune on this piece. I am not sure what he is selling, but it feels like something rare and valuable. Even though we have just met, I feel very close to this man, and quite interested in him. It seems he has important information to impart to me.

As our communication unfolds, we are interrupted periodically by customers coming in to the shop. One customer is a very wealthy and worldly woman. While they are talking, I stay close behind the shopkeeper, touching him on the shoulder from time to time. I am surprised by the level of intimacy I assume with him. As their conversation continues, I whisper in his left ear,

“You can be anything this time around.
You can be anything, this time around.”

It is a kind of in joke, because we get it and she does not.
